Every cell in the human body needs to be nourished in order to thrive. A few years ago, I decided that I needed to ensure the continual nourishing of my body. All who know me know that I have no problem eating. And, I eat across the landscape of eating. I don’t eat desserts as a general rule and I eat just about anything edible. Beets and pumpkins are not edible!

In America, we are not confronted with what we might call “classic idolatry” on a daily basis. By “classic idolatry”, I mean statues and shrines where people fall down and worship a particular image. Those images are mostly confined to movies and are portrayed in very dark ways. They are associated with the occult, witches, and demons.

Children can be the most exasperating, challenging, and frustrating people on the planet! They need constant attention. They, generally, do not receive discipline and teaching very well as we constantly have to go over the same material again and again. They fail. They fall. They fear. They require a lot of attention! They are tiring!
