We really have a good time with our Little Hands Preschool on Thursdays. The children are so fun to be around. They love being here! They are always so excited to learn new things and do so many activities.

This year’s men’s advance was very revealing, to my mind. Mark Loftis helped us look at people through more focused eyes. It appealed to me as a way to come to understand how very different, not wrong, each person is by the way they approach their spirituality. Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical and nervous about this event, but quickly realized the potential therein for our congregation.

On February 14, 1967, Aretha Franklin recorded what became maybe her most popular song—Respect. The repeated chorus is the part most people identify with, literally and figuratively. RESPECT; Find out what it means to me; RESPECT. The song also includes the words, “all I’m asking for is just a little respect.”
