Youth Ministry

We plan spiritual and fellowship activities that will help our teenagers grow in knowledge and service to God. Our youth program is designed around weekly spiritual activities for students in grades 6th-12th. Many parents are involved in the youth program in a variety of ways, from serving as chaperones, assisting with transportation, and opening their homes to fellowship activities.

Several events are planned each year, both locally and in other states. Some are strictly fun and fellowship. Others are spiritual in nature. A few of the activities our youth participate in are:

  • Bible Classes (Sundays & Wednesdays)

  • Rolling Hills Bible Camp

  • Monthly area-wide youth rallies

  • Monthly local youth meetings

  • Annual retreat

  • Commit Youth Rally

  • Challenge Youth Conference (Pigeon Forge, TN)

  • Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes (Louisville, KY)

Commit Youth Rally

This 200+ youth rally event is an annual event that started in 2007. Youth gather from over 100 miles away for this special weekend. The COMMIT youth rally is the 2nd weekend in November. See www.commityouthrally.com for more information.

 

Challenge Youth Conference (CYC)

CYC is a highlight event that occurs the last weekend in February. This 14,000-person event creates special memories and friendships. “The vision of CYC is to maintain a positive program, which empowers our teenagers with sound teaching and challenges and encourages them to live their lives for Christ.” Click to learn more about CYC at www.cyconline.com.
