Boy Scouts of America
Colonels for Christ
Christ (C4C) assists college age young adults in searching for and developing their own faith. This ministry helps them realize what God has done for them in life to this point and to encourage them to develop a stronger relationship with God.
One of the students’ favorite events is the home cooked meal provided every first Wednesday at 5:30 pm during EKU's Fall & Spring semesters.
Teddy Bear Ministry
Teddy bears are provided for children who are treated at the hospital emergency room, Instant Care Center, etc. The Teddy Bear ministry is one of the most visual of our outreach activities. For years, our women have been making cloth bears for children who are treated at the emergency room at Baptist Health Richmond. Many parents have contacted us to express their appreciation for the bears. They tell heart-warming stories about how their child became less frightened when he or she was given a bear to cuddle.
